VAT representative

Under the Israeli VAT Law of 1975 and Amendment No. 132 to the Income Tax Ordinance, the legislator stipulated that foreign residents, managing entity (local branch or subsidiary) in Israel are obligated to appoint a local representative to address VAT issues in particular, and fiscal matters in general.

We provide our clients with such a service, by appointing one of the firm’s partners or managers as the foreign residents’ representative for handling any required dealings with tax authorities.

The service is required from the company’s first steps in Israel during its registration. Subsequently, our firm assists foreign residents in maintaining their books, preparation and control of reports, compliance with various regulations according to Israeli law, accompanying clients during tax authority audits, and more.

Our clients include dozens of multinational companies benefiting from this service. Thanks to continuous communication between our senior accountants and our clients, as well as due to relationships built over the years with relevant tax authority figures, our firm helps foreign residents efficiently, meticulously, and qualitatively manage their businesses.
